Inspired by Romain (who's version is 100x better!), my normal style of drawing, only this time no with a pencil but with a number two brush, white goache paint and a very small piece of black cardboard (2,5"x3").
I love doing more of this, yet never sure where to place them. This is best looked at from a distance!
Nice work. It looks like Andy Warhol!
Thank you MHK! This is more my style of work but never with paint, always with pen or pencils. I have two others a bit similar yet with nudity in it so can not post those here.
This one was challenging since the background was black (you have to think mirrored! (if that English makes sence!)) and the white paint did not stick very well to it.
Dear Jin, looks indeed like Andy's 'screen printing' but in black and white this time.
Although I like Warhol, my absolute favourite for this kind of style is Roy Liechtenstein!
Voy these 2 last paintings are very creative. I cannot stop looking at this unusual background. I see it quite blue not black.. and with texture.

How is your garden? Already seeing first sprouts?
Dear Sunnylady, you have eagle eyes! Indeed this is not black but also not blue, more like something in between. The reason for that is that the piece of cardboard used for this was over 30 years old, so it showed great 'patina' and texture. Perfect for a painting I believed!
Such small paintings and subject are more my style since in fact, I normally draw them. I am a better drawing artist then a painter you know. Several more of these are in my portfolio yet I cannot publish them here because most contain nudity. I am working on that with Felix since quite a long while and we'll see what can be done about that in the near future.
And yes, no sprouts yet but planted 32 tomato plants this weekend, some 200 onions and 140 potatoe plants! Eevery square inch of my back is aching like hell!!! The garden preparation was also the reason I wasn't very active the past week. The weather was excellent so my attention was outdoors focused!
Thanks for your cheers and interests dear, always greatly appreciated!!
That's a lot of vegetables! Our gardening season has not started yet. Seedlings however are taking the space on windowsills.
Take care of your back dear friend!
Oh, I have some 30 beet plants, zucchinni, eggplants and some 20 paprika plants ready for next weekend to be planted! It is early season here as well yet the forecast shows no frost for the next two weeks. Besides, inside my greenhouse it never freezes so all plants are safe there.
Amazing that gardening season hasn't started yet …. you live in Texas, right? That should be warmer then Belgium nowadays. Unless you are in Russia for the moment, then you mightt face quite some frosty nights yet to come.
No worries, your comments and stories are always heartwarming, beats EVERY frost on this planet!
Have a great week!!
